“We had a wonderful 2 nights stay in the hotel, lovely view from our room and very good meals at the restaurant. Will not hesitate to come back in the future.”

“This is one of those places where you start thinking: should I maybe add another night to my stay? That is how nice Berggasthof Königstuhl is. The staff is friendly, the breakfast provided plenty of choice and quality, and the room was good too with a beautiful view of Heidelberg below. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant of the hotel twice, with the menu providing a variety of both classic staples and locally sourced dishes.”

“A real 4/5 experience for me. I always wondered what that was but it’s this place. Because the food was good, the location is amazing and the rooms very tidy and super clean. But we were unpleasantly welcomed, and the staff is not really there for you (except for the restaurant, they were friendly) and parking for a night costs you €9. And the reception was bad and WiFi not working. All with all, perfect place for a stop, not for a longer stay.”

“Just had an unforgettable lunch at Restaurant Bergstube Königstuhl in Heidelberg! Snowflakes were swirling outside, but inside, the fire crackled and the vibes were pure coziness . Food was a thrill! Loved the chestnut soup with lavender - so unique. Pretzel-crusted schnitzel and beef burger were delicious, though I found 'em a bit salty. BUT OH THE FRIES . Like, best I've had in ages. Crispy perfection! Service was warm and efficient, even with the storm chaos . Skip desserts, trust me. 4/5 would come back for those fries and the vibe .”
